Doug has over 25 years of experience in the Tertiary and Vocational Education Sectors and he currently serves as GM Talent Supply Transitions and Operations for Service IQ. He has a wealth of experience in operational and strategic leadership and public sector funding models. Doug is also an examiner and fellow in Ballroom and Latin Dancing and sits on the executive governance group for the NZ Federation of Dance Teachers. In addition, he is a member of the academic board Te Poari Akoranga for the newly formed Te Pūkenga (NZ Institute of Skills and Technology) and co-chairs the Ohu Whakahaere Approvals. He is also a member of the Institute of Directors.
