Hospice Waikato helps people who are living with a terminal illness to live life to its fullest, while providing comfort and specialist palliative care.

Hospice care looks after the needs of a person through medical and nursing care along with emotional, social and physical support. It is a specialist palliative care service that is free of charge.

We believe that everyone deserves to have the best quality of life possible.

Family Services

We include family/whānau and carers in the heart of our services, and support those who support the patient.

Inpatient Unit

Our Inpatient Unit is an 11 bed unit. Our focus is on managing symptoms and improving quality of life.

Nursing Care at Home

Our Community Nursing teams make it possible for patients to be cared for at home where they feel most comfortable.

Outpatient Clinics

At our outpatient clinic, patients can be seen by a doctor or nurse for specialist assessment.
