Waikato Community Hospice Trust is registered under the Charitable Trusts Act 2005 on 18 January 2008. A Board of Trustees, drawn from the Waikato community is responsible for the organisation.
The Board of Trustees is accountable for ensuring that Hospice Waikato is properly governed and effectively managed, is sustainable financially and operationally and that financial reporting and statutory compliance are confirmed by an independent audit.
