Hospice Waikato is a great place to work and the mahi we do is incredibly important and rewarding. We provide specialist palliative care for people living with a terminal condition and their whaanau across the Waikato region.
We are searching for a caterer to join us at our main location Hamilton East.
You will be joining a team who cover a 7-day roster to cater for our 11 bed Inpatient Unit and occasional in-house functions. In this role, you will be working independently in the kitchen preparing nutritious and appealing meals for our patients. Our patients have diverse needs which can be impacted by their illnesses and medication, so it is important that you have experience managing dietary requirements.
We're looking for someone with:
- Have catering/meal preparation experience
- Understanding of basic nutritional requirements and dietary restrictions
- Food Safety/Handling Certificate would be desirable
- Attention to detail and a creative flair for food presentation
