Equipment Delivery Volunteers

Equipment Delivery Volunteers

Volunteers are an important part of our team, delivering and assembling equipment in patients’ homes.

Equipment includes hospital beds, electric lazy boy chairs, wheelchairs, commodes etc. Part of this role requires volunteers to deliver and assemble equipment, then dismantling and collecting when it is no longer needed. You will use the Hospice van and could travel anywhere within the Waikato.

• You must have a current valid driver’s licence.
• There are always two people on per shift.
• Shifts start at 8.30am and finish around 4.00pm.

Volunteers will need to undergo a degree of training on how to use equipment, plus attend an orientation programme (1.5 hours).
